Ubongo is Africa's biggest classroom and the creators of the beloved educational cartoons Akili and Me, Ubongo Kids and the newly launched Nuzo and Namia! Our mission is for EVERY African child to have access to fun and relevant learning experiences from characters that look like them, speak their languages, and understand their lives!
In 2023, we launched Nuzo and Namia, a Pan-African edutainment TV and radio program that helps 6 to 9-year-olds learn reading comprehension and de-stigmatizes neurodiversity and different learning styles to kids and caregivers. Through Nuzo and Namia, kids across Africa and the world realize that no matter how they learn, they can find the fun in reading.
